Haiku of Frustration

Hear that sucking sound?
That is just my Saturday
Drained away by work

I moved here because
the weather is very nice
Stuck at computer

All of the rain that fell
Is good for the earth and plants
Also makes weeds grow

Water drains slowly
For days and days and days
Maintenance needed

First part of the day
Very productive, but then
Motivation gone

For the amount charged
They really should be able to
Give more tea than ice

Just standing on the
sidewalk, waiting for someone
Then they called the cops

Fridays start early
Thursday nights are short and bleh
Worried about sleep

Too many hours
In front of computer screen
Eyeballs start to bleed

It’s Taco Tuesday
Rain continues off and on
Walk to restaurant?
